Madaar

Privacy Policy

Last updated 28 September 2026

Madaar is a school management platform. Schools use it to run admissions, attendance, academics, fees, and communication. This policy explains what information we handle and why.

Terms And Conditions

Who We Are

Madaar is operated from Lahore, Pakistan. When this policy says “Madaar”, “we”, or “us”, it means the team that provides the Madaar platform at madaar.pk.

A school that opens an account decides what campus information goes into Madaar and why. For student, parent, and staff records the school enters, the school is responsible for having a proper reason to collect that information. Madaar processes it so the school can run the platform.

Information We Collect

We collect information in three ways: what you send us, what a school enters into the product, and what the service records so it can run securely.

  • Account and demo details, such as your name, work email, phone number, school name, and role.
  • Campus records a school chooses to store, including students, guardians, staff, classes, attendance, homework, exams, fees, and notices.
  • Messages you send through the contact form, email, or WhatsApp.
  • Technical logs such as browser type, approximate location derived from an IP address, and pages or actions needed to keep the service available and secure.

How We Use It

We use this information to provide Madaar, reply to schools, operate accounts, process fees the school records, send notices the school asks us to deliver, and keep the platform reliable.

  • Set up and support a school account, including demos booked from the website.
  • Show each campus its own students, staff, attendance, academics, and fees.
  • Deliver parent and staff notices that the school sends from Madaar.
  • Protect accounts, investigate misuse, and fix problems.
  • Understand, in aggregate, which parts of the site and product are used, so we can improve them.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use student records to advertise to children.

Students And Families

Madaar is built for schools, not for children to sign themselves up. A school may store records about students, including children, and may invite parents or guardians to see attendance, reports, and fees.

The school decides which student and family details to enter, who on its staff can see them, and what parents can view. If you are a parent or student and want a record corrected or removed, contact your school. The school can update it in Madaar. You can also write to us and we will help the school respond.

Who We Share It With

We share information only as needed to run Madaar, when a school asks us to, or when the law requires it.

  • People at the school who the school has allowed to see that record.
  • Providers that host the service, send email or messages, or help us operate Madaar, and only for that purpose.
  • Authorities when we must comply with a lawful request under the laws of Pakistan.

How Long We Keep It

We keep account and campus information for as long as the school uses Madaar, and for a limited time afterward so we can close the account, resolve a dispute, or meet a legal duty. Demo and website messages are kept long enough to respond and keep a record of that conversation. Security logs are kept for a shorter period.

When a school closes its account, we delete or return campus records within a reasonable time, unless we need to keep a copy to meet a legal obligation.

Security

We use access controls, encrypted connections, and limits on who on the Madaar team can see campus data. No online service can promise perfect security. If we learn of a breach that affects a school’s information, we will tell that school and take steps to limit the harm.

Your Choices

You can ask us what account information we hold about you, ask for a correction, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Schools can export or update the campus records they control from inside the product, or by writing to us.

The public website does not require an account. If your browser sends a do-not-track signal, the site does not respond to it with a separate setting, because we do not use the marketing trackers that signal is meant to control.

Changes And Contact

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Madaar after that date means the updated policy applies.
